This style may be a bit radical for some but has been seen growing in popularity on the PGA Tour.

J.T. asked: Hi, I finally have my golf set. I am 16 years old by the way and this is my first set. Please rate from 1-10, 10 being the best. Please give feedback.
Driver – Callaway Big Bertha War Bird
Woods – Callaway Big Bertha War Bird 5 Wood and Tour Model II 3 Wood
Hybrid – Haven’t decided ( Please Help Out )
Irons – Callaway X-12 Big Bertha (3-PW)
Wedge – Cleveland 588 RTG Sand Wedge 56 degree
Putter – Callaway Big Bertha (Any suggestions for a putter too?)
All in a Callaway War Bird Stand Bag
Thanks in advance!
I should add that everything listed was bought for $45 at a thrift store. Luck find. It took me 5 hours to clean them and I already used a beginner set and broke 100 with them.

Putter length is very importance when purchasing a new putter. Here is an overview on fitting yourself to the correct putter length.

Doug K asked:
I have a set of golf clubs we dug out of the closet of our new home here in Chattanooga, TN. I would like to sell them, but also (obviously) would like to get a fair price for them. They are lightly used, and none seem to have any dents or dings in them. There is dirt on the PW, and on the skinny#5 club. They are Kathy Whitworth Monogram II, and are made for a petite woman. All are graphite shaft except for the putter. The skinny head clubs are numbered 4-9, and the fat headed clubs are numbered 1, 3, 5, 7. It also has a matching PW and SW, but the putter is a different brand (Align series 3). The bag says “CROSPETE sports” I think. This set also has an extra Callaway #5 fat head club that says “Big Bertha” and “S2H2″ on it. That club has its own special little sock cover. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! FYI, these will probably eventually go on craigslist here in Chattanooga, and down in Atlanta.
