Im unsure of what golf club set to buy. I am a Beginner. Which one do you think would be the best for me?

    Why people insist on buying a set of golf clubs, sight unseen, and not knowing whether they will suit the purchaser , is beyond my comprehension. You should have the clubs fitted for length, shaft flex, the lie angle and proper grip size. Start with the right clubs, take a couple of lessons regarding the basics of the game and you will thoroughly enjoy ” the good walk spoiled”.

    I disagree with the previous poster. For someone starting out with relatively average height / build, then the regular clubs are fine for learning the basics.

    Golf is a difficult sport to get started in, and requires a large time commitment for improvement. You shouldn’t invest too much money up front until you are sure you are going to stick with it and have hit a certain level of performance.

    That being said, you can find good deals on better sets of used clubs on craigslist…this is an option.

    Probably the Top-Flites. Other than the uniflex iron shafts, they’re good.

    Whatever you do, DO NOT BUY EITHER SET. Go to you local ***** Sporting goods and look into the Slazenger complete sets. They are much better than the two that you have posted. For you own sake do not buy either of the two because you will be disappointed. The Slazenger is about the same price as well. My first set of clubs were the Slazenger’s and they were great.

    Probably not too much of a difference between these two sets. They both look like a fairly forgiving low end club, very basic good way to start. the Top-Flite set has a 4 AND a 5 hybrid while the Wilson set has only a 4 hybrid and you would be hitting a 5 iron (harder to hit than a 5 hybrid).
